1. About Romantica
These Terms & Conditions apply to direct bookings made through romanticaretreat.com for stays at Romantica – Swiss Mountain Retreat in Oberterzen, Switzerland. By completing a direct booking, the guest agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking becomes binding once the booking process has been completed and a booking confirmation has been sent by email. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking, including dates, number of guests and contact details, is correct.

3. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF). The total price, applicable fees and payment conditions are displayed during the booking process before the reservation is confirmed. Payment is processed using the payment method selected during booking.

4. Cancellation
Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations made 14–29 days before arrival receive a 50% refund of the accommodation price. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival, as well as no-shows and early departures, are non-refundable. If we are able to rebook the cancelled dates, we may refund additional amounts at our discretion. For stays of 14 nights or longer, as well as retreats, events and other special bookings, separate cancellation and payment conditions may apply and will be communicated before booking confirmation. We strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate travel insurance.

5. Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Self check-in may be available depending on the booking. Detailed arrival and access information will be provided before the stay.

6. Guests & Occupancy
Romantica accommodates a maximum of 8 registered guests. Only guests included in the reservation may stay overnight at the property unless otherwise agreed in advance. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the reservation and accompanying guests.

7. House Rules
Guests are expected to treat the house, furnishings, outdoor spaces and surroundings with care and to respect the resi-dential neighbourhood. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Quiet hours and any additional house rules commu-nicated before or during the stay form part of these booking conditions.

8. Damage
Guests are responsible for damage caused intentionally or through negligence by themselves or members of their group during their stay. Any damage or breakage should be reported to the hosts as soon as possible so that it can be handled fairly and promptly.

9. Longer Stays, Events & Retreats
Romantica is also available for longer stays, private events, workshops and intimate retreats. These bookings may be subject to different prices, payment schedules, cancellation conditions, occupancy arrangements or additional terms. Where applicable, these will be agreed separately in writing before the booking is confirmed.

10. Changes or Cancellation by the Host
In the unlikely event that Romantica cannot provide the booked accommodation due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will contact the guest as soon as possible. Any amount already paid for accommodation that cannot be provided will be refunded. Romantica is not responsible for interruptions to external services or facilities outside our control, including public transport, gondola operations, ski-area operations, weather conditions or other third-party services.

11. Personal Data
Personal information supplied during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Booking and payment information may be processed by service providers required to complete the reservation, including Smoobu and the selected payment provider.

12. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions and direct bookings with Romantica are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction provisions that may apply.
